Initiated the design and implementation of a custom handmade ceramic homeware and sculpture company. Created all promotional materials including, logo, business cards, web site, brochures, print ads and branding. Researched current trends in ceramics. Initiated safety protocol and best studio practices. Implemented a studio management system and inventory control. Website currently under construction as a new body of work is created. A move from Etsy to a dedicated website is currently underway.

Consulted with the President of  Cynthia Jones Jewelry  on new jewelry designs and booth design at NY NOW  and Pearl Street Fine Art Festival in Boulder Colorado. Consulted with President of Jennifer Glenn Jewelry on logo and website design, Collaborated feedback on jewelry design and biography

Board of Directors, Direct Donations Chair   2017- 2019
Member. Provided strategic advice and guidance for a nonprofit focused on education and elementary school programs. Researched, created and implemented various fundraising opportunities. Promoted and encouraged parent participation. 

Planned and coordinated PTC special events and Direct Donations, Fall Festival, Movie Night, Parents Night Out and Field Day. These events fund all of PTC run after school programs and keep WG Physical Education and Art teachers at full time status.

Art Night Committee   2017 - 2019
Member. Development and planning of art night theme. Coordination and execution of placement and hanging of over 1000 works of art in multiple mediums. Coordination with elementary students K-6 to create and execute selection of art and a written biography. 

Art Classroom Volunteer  
Hands on experience in an elementary art classroom setting. Helped students select projects and complete them in a given class period. Helped Mrs. Mary Olson execute her lesson plan by setting up art stations and interacting with students during their art block. Encourage students to try new projects and explore new mediums.

Mentoring is a lesson in patience and understanding for both parties. Setting boundaries while at the same time offering guidance, companionship and help with life planning and sometimes  just an ear to listen. 

Board of Advisors 2017 - Current
Member. Provided strategic advice and guidance for a nonprofit focused on education for at-risk teens. Researched available grants and supported fundraising goals for the program. 

Programs Coordinator and Designer
Coordinated the mentor program. Liaison between mentors and mentees. Worked closely with the program developer to create an active and working mentors program. Developed and designed Mother Tongue Project website, logo, business cards, flyers, and print ads.

Los Poblanos Inn & Cultural Center

Festival Project Manager   07/10
Organized and executed the annual Los Poblanos Lavender in the Village Festival. The festival hosts over 10,000 attendees. Researched and arranged all vendors and live entertainment. Responsible for set up and take down, contests, deliveries, staffing and volunteers. Position on the board of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque Lavender in the Village committee to represent and speak for Los Poblanos Inn & Cultural Center.

Position had many facets. Daily office management (administrative) and organization. Completed special projects the director was not able to finish. Projects ranged from returning important phone calls, creating last minute ads for various local magazines to researching and aiding in the creation of labels for new international lavender products.
